Hooligans win in
13 goal thriller
The Hooligans ensured
their top-flight existence on Saturday afternoon with a thrilling win against Bar La Palmera at Brisa Sports.
For the first time
this season the squad was complete, no injuries no suspension (but at least a dozen hangovers from Friday night). This gave the Gaffer a nice problem!!!
However it was Bar La
Palerma who started brightest and they took the lead when they converted a free kick just outside the Hooligans penalty area. Then it was goal for goal as both teams had plenty of chances and at half time it
was 3-1 to Bar La Palmera.
The second half saw the
hooligans take complete control and chance after chance went begging until finally the lads got their sights in and before
we knew it the Hooligans were 7-6 up with a few minutes to go. The last moments were tense but the lads held out and were
worthy winners.
Next week the Hooligans
have two fixtures and play on Monday night at 9.00pm and Saturday at 3.00pm.
